However, they do have an Early Decision (ED) program, which is binding, meaning that if you are accepted, you are committed to attending Syracuse. The Early Decision deadline for Syracuse is generally around November 15 for ED I and around January 5 for ED II. For ED I, students will receive their admissions decisions prior to January 1st. For ED II, candidates are typically notified by mid-February. If you don't want to commit to Syracuse yet, you can apply under their Regular Decision option, whose deadline is around January 5th. Keep in mind that applying ED might boost your chances of admission if Syracuse is your top choice.
